An easy way to remove the remaining wax is to pop it into the freezer. Leave it for a couple of hours and then you can easily lift out any remaining wax and the wick holder with a spoon. It should cleanly come away in one or two pieces. Wash your glass in hot, soapy water & rinse with clean water – or put it through the dishwasher.
