CLEANSING AND CHARGING YOUR CRYSTAL GEMSTONE JEWELRY Once cleansed and charged with your own energy and intentions, do not allow anyone else to wear or handle your jewelry. Be sure to cleanse your 6th Third Eye (Ajna) Chakra Bracelet when received. Use your feather fan to waft over it the smoke of purifying incense. Use sound vibrations from a singing bowl, bells, or tingsha chimes while quickly and carefully passing through the flame of an Indigo candle. Place in a (preferably clear quartz or selenite… just not any kind of metal) bowl on top of a bed of dead sea salt and leave soaking in the moonlight for at least four hours. Remove from the bowl, rinse for 30 seconds in (ideally natural, like a stream or in the rain) running water, then gently dry with a cloth (BE CAREFUL with stones that may easily scratch). Hold in your left hand (if wearing for receiving intentions) or right hand (if wearing for emitting intentions) and meditate your intentions and energy onto the stones for half an hour. Alternatively, cleanse by smudging then holding under running water (or leaving out in the rain) for at least 30 seconds, dry, and gently place in a bed of sea salt on a windowsill after sunset for a few hours. Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals and cleaning products. Recharge your gemstones as needed by placing in the sunlight or moonlight for a few hours, or by burying in the earth for a day or two.
